weekly gain for the s&p. geoff cutmore is live for us in london. geoff, i'm hearing rumors blackberry's future or maybe lack of it will become clear after today. >> absolutely. it's a nice link back into the story you just covered. a canadian story about staying alive. and quite frankly, that's what blackberry needs to do. there is a bid on the table from fair fax that values it a little under $5 billion. and now question marks as to whether fairfax can find the cash. so there is a competing bid from qualcomm. and then ultimately you'd have the co-founders getting involved, as well, and they should certainly know something about the business. so this is a company that is hemorrhaging about a billion dollars a quarter. so something needs to happen soon. today is the deadline for the bids to come in. so we'll look to see where this goes during the course of the business day. a fascinating story for you.

twitter, i think it's about 1242 242 million user, three quarters come from outside the united states. but when you look at the revenue,million user, three qua come from outside the united states. but when you look at the revenue, only 26%. clearly they need to do something to get the international users to start clicking on the ads or at least contributing to the revenue stream. we'll see what happens post-ipo. i guess there's a possibility that the ipo assists them with a little bit of cash maybe to work on the business model to get these international users to start putting money into the coffers. which is ultimately what it's all about. >> geoff, if then was in the stores, it is straight ahead full speed for christmas. ridiculous. what is walmart up to? >> a fascinating story, isn't it.
